Academic work

In my previous life in academia, I defended a Ph.D. thesis on the ethics of human enhancement in 2014. The work has been published in the book: The Case for Perfection: Ethics in the Age of Human Enhancement. I worked at the Institute for Biomedical Ethics at the University of Zurich from 2010 to 2018 and was a board member of the Swiss Society for Bioethics.

From 2014 to 2018, I was Managing Director of the Center for Medical Humanities in Zurich. I was also a Senior Researcher at the Collegium Helveticum in 2017-18.

I am still an Affiliate Researcher at the Institute of Biomedical Ethics and History of Medicine at the University of Zurich.
